DIRECTOR OF EGG-CELLENCE

Cherryl is our resident chicken community expert. She and her daughter raise and breed a handful of chickens themselves. It was in her quest to find the best chickens for her flock that she founded Roobeez. She aligns the MadHatchers team with what is most important to the chicken community.

Favorite chicken breed: Serama.

Loves chickens because: They are so comical — they are like little people stuffed in feathers. Only cuter. Watching them and having them in my life is like being inside a cartoon story. Never a dull moment having a chicken in your life!

Hobbies: horses, chickens, and craft "collector" — a fancy name for a hoarder of fun, whimsical, sometimes odd things.

MARKETING & DESIGN

Megan is our design and marketing specialist. Often behind the scenes of our social media pages, Megan is passionate about sharing information and allowing our platform to reach as many people as possible.

Favorite chicken breed: Ayam Cemani

Loves chickens because: They’re adorable! Watching their personalities shine as they interact with the world around them is so precious.

Hobbies: hiking my local Northern California trails, spending time in my garden (tending to it and watching flowers bloom), and cozying up with a good book.

COMMUNITY MANAGER

Ashley is our outreach superstar. She loves helping others learn how to care for their poultry and livestock.

Favorite chicken breed: Salmon faverolles - funny, goofy, and not so smart

Loves chickens because: They are so smart and so unique. each one is so different from the next. I love raising them and enjoy watching them and all of the crazy things they do.

Hobbies: Anything chicken and farm-related, gardening or sewing/crafting.

PROJECTS SPECIALISTS

Jamie pops in wherever needed from community initiatives, event prep, or assisting with marketing collateral. She is always ready to take on a project.

Favorite chicken breed: Polish chicken - coolest set of head feathers!

Loves chickens because: They may be small but play an enormous role in sustaining the farming community.

Hobbies: Traveling the world and spending time with any type of animal.
