Home For Our Garden Friends

⏰ TIME TBA

“Our Garden Friends” workshop teaches little learners about the friendly bugs that can be found in the garden. Kids will have the opportunity to observe live insects up close and learn how to identify them. They will learn how beneficial insects like ladybugs, praying mantises, and bees support our gardens and help plants thrive.

The “Home For Our Garden Friends” workshop leads kids through making a bug hotel. Children will discover the importance of providing a habitat for beneficial insects like ladybugs, bees, and butterflies. Using natural and recycled materials like branches and pine cones, kids will build their very own habitat they can take home and hang in their garden.

Please note workshops/activities may vary based on expo location.
